WHITE & WOOD

interior of the restaurant "Publika", Rostov-on-Don
Urban territory right in the hart of the city. Irregular, contrast, but conceptual and integral. Cozy restaurant, where, twisted in strange harmony the elements of a naturally rough loft and homelike comfort are good together. Live, breathing field – the floor of a natural larch stand against white brick canopy, hanging over the tables. In the hall centre there is an 'invisible' column, totally covered by the mirror, looking just dissolving in the air, reflecting surrounding.
Main attraction is decorative fire place by the grey wall. That is transforming place, changing faces on the owner's will. Candles enlivens it in the evening. Chrome plated spotlight overshines fireplace and the wall, wooden block garnished. Contrast and monochrome drinking booth, decorated by the inlaid ornament is a harmonic co-existence symbol of all the parts in that uncommon place. Cold white light, evenly spread on a ceiling makes an illusion of cease-time. "It's time to drink tee", ever more.
